Tasks
In the Tasks page, users can find all tasks related to their company. Tradecloud will automatically create a task when human input is required. Tasks will always be “in context” of something, for example, an order line or a shipment.
Tasks can get assigned to a contact person based on one of the following methods:
- The contact person is specified in the order (response) messages Tradecloud receives from the ERP system.
- A Default Order Contact is assigned to a specific connection.
- An order is manually assigned to a contact person.
- An individual task is assigned to a contact person.
When a task is assigned to a contact person, only that person will be notified by email about the task.
When a task has no assigned contact person, the user settings determine if the user receives a notification about the task.

Tasks are classified based on the module they are related to & the urgency of the task.
Supported modules are:
- Forecast sharing
- Purchase orders
- Shipments
Urgency categories are:
- Conversations (chat messages)
- Exceptions (unexpected events that happened, like reopen requests or late deliveries)
- Notifications (new orders & acknowledge tasks)
