Tasks reminders
This page describes how task reminders are used within the Tradecloud One portal.
Overdue settings
Admin users can determine when task reminders need to be sent to suppliers. This can be done on two levels:
- Default, this setting will apply to tasks of all connected suppliers for whom a Supplier-specific setting is not specified.
- Supplier-specific, which will apply only to a specified supplier.
The default setting can be set on the Company settings page.
Supported task types for automatic reminders
Currently, supported task types are:
- Await confirmation tasks
When will a user be reminded?
Buyers can determine after how long a supplier will be reminded about an “await confirmation” task. This can be done by an admin user in the company settings.

The Supplier-specific settings can be specified per connected supplier on the network page.
It is also possible to disable the task reminders for specific suppliers.

How will a user be reminded?
Tradecloud will check every night if a task has been open longer than the specified time limit.
When this is the case, the task will be labelled as “Action required” and a new email notification will be scheduled for the specific task.
Tasks with the label “Action required” are shown at the top of the task list.
