In de nieuwe release is het mogelijk om uw gegevens binnen Tradecloud extra te beveiligen door middel van Two-Factor authentication (2FA). Deze techniek zorgt er voor dat een gebruiker zichzelf op twee unieke manieren moet identificeren voordat toegang wordt verschaft tot de gegevens van het bedrijf waarvoor deze persoon werkzaam is.<\/p>\n

Tradecloud maakt voor deze tweede factor gebruik van een software token, die door een Authenticator app <\/em>op een smartphone of tablet gegenereerd wordt. De software token is een zogenaamde “Time Based One-time Password”<\/i>, dat wil zeggen dat de token binnen een bepaald tijdsbestek uit zichzelf verandert en dat iedere token maar eenmalig gebruikt kan worden. Op deze manier zorgt 2FA er voor dat bedrijfsgegevens binnen Tradecloud nog beter beschermd zijn.<\/p>\n

Two-factor authentication is gemakkelijk te activeren in de profielpagina van elke gebruiker, het enige dat nodig is, is een smartphone met een Authenticator app<\/em> (bijvoorbeeld Google Authenticator) erop ge\u00efnstalleerd. Naast het vrijwillig activeren van 2FA is het ook mogelijk voor admin gebruikers om 2FA te verplichten voor alle gebruikers binnen het bedrijf.<\/p>\n
